No. Ambitura works fully offline with local AI models. The subscription adds Cloud AI features for enhanced accuracy and additional capabilities like intelligent ambiance matching.

What counts as one Cloud AI credit?

One credit = one video analysis using Cloud AI. The credit cost is the same regardless of which feature tier you use (basic classification, detailed reasoning, or full ambiance matching).

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel anytime from your account page. You keep access to Cloud AI and remaining credits until the end of your current billing period. After that, you still have full access to local/offline analysis.

What data is sent to the cloud?

Only extracted video frames (at reduced resolution) are sent for classification. Your original footage never leaves your machine. All cloud processing is done via AWS in the EU region.

Do I need internet for the desktop app?

Only for Cloud AI features. Scene detection, tagging, export, and all local analysis work completely offline.
